I went to Lincoln, Lincolnshire, UK, for Christmas 2025 with my family to visit my sister, her husband, and my then 2-month old nephew. When I was in the Lincoln, I couldn’t help but admire all the older, medieval era architecture that has stayed. Unlike London and other major European cities, Lincolnshire was not bombed during World War II. The Cathedral was built in the year 1092 AD and has stayed there ever since. It is not everyday that I get to see medieval buildings in an older town, so I absolutely had to create art of the Cathedral. This one took roughly five weeks, because despite being on 12”x9” mixed media paper, there was so much detail in the building to draw in.
