Pete Burns

This is a portrait of the late Pete Burns, who was the lead singer of the ’80’s British pop group, “Dead or Alive.”  Dead or Alive most well known for their hit, “You Spin Me Right Round…Like A Record.”  Pete Burns was both LGBTQ, and androgynous.  Unfortunately, Burns suddenly died of a cardiac arrest at the age of 57 in 2016.  This piece was another piece created to honor LGBT people in music.
