Flying

“Flying” is inspired by a flight Max took from Los Angeles to Boston as well as a Beatles’ song of the same name.  On the flight, Max wanted to entertain himself while thinking of “flying” in a positive way.  In the drawing, a charcoal portrait of Max has colored hair twirling and going off the screen.  The sky to the upper left of his face blends in with his hair.  at the top left is a cartoon sun with colorful rays.  At the bottom left, Max’s shirt turns into a swirly blue sky with hints of different bright colors.  Red clouds form out of the swirly sky and rainbows rise from the left cloud.
