Derrick Rump- Club Q Victim Series

Derrick Rump (he/him), 38, was one of the five victims of the Club Q hate crime shooting in Colorado Springs, Colorado on November 19-20, 2023.  He was a popular and beloved bartender at Club Q.  He was described as going out of his way to lift peoples’ spirits and put smiles on their faces.  This portrait was drawn to remember Derrick and stand up for LGBT rights.  Pronouns are listed on each drawing to properly respect the victim, as misgendering is harassment and bullying.
