“Third Eye” is a blacklight tribute to Eastern meditation. The painting features Max opening an eye on his forehead while his two main eyes are shut. The painting’s inspiration came from Marvel’s Doctor Strange film as well as David Bowie’s Space Oddity. The falling circles in the background are what Max experiences in his head during meditation. This is Max’s second blacklight painting after “In a Spacy Mood.”
