Stonewall

“Stonewall” is piece with the Stonewall Inn and portraits of activists including Marsha P Johnson in front and next to the inn.  It is inspired by the historical Stonewall riots of 1969, that was the beginning of the LGBTQ movement in the United States.  This event took place in the Greenwich Village of New York.  This piece advocates and stands up for LGBTQ rights when they are still under attack today.  It also condemns actions of the police- both in 1969 and today.
