Kelsey

In November 2017, Max’s close friend, Kelsey unexpectedly passed away in her sleep.  Max was in deep shock when he first heard the news about her passing.  As a tribute, he decided to paint this simple portrait of her.  The original idea for the portrait was to have Kelsey evoke “daylight” in outer space.  The original idea would have been similar to Pixar’s “Day and Night” short.  However, when Max’s brother saw the portrait, Max’s brother suggested he keep it the way it first came out.
