The month of April is Autism Acceptance Month. The official title is Autism Awareness Month. But I consider this to be more of a message to accept autism rather than just be aware of it. And as some of you probably know, I am autistic myself. Being accepted has long been a struggle for many of us in the autism community. I created these “Lanyards for Neurodiversity” to promote autism acceptance after being inspired by a trip to the United Kingdom.
