Shaded in Space

“Shaded in Space” is partly inspired by a piece Max saw on DeviantArt.  It is also partly inspired by David Bowie’s “Aladdin Sane” cover album artwork.  But it also draws inspiration from a series of psychedelic poster stencils of The Beatles by Richard Avedon.  The artwork is a colored stencil psychedelic self-portrait of Max, with his shadows fading into a deep space starfield.  Unlike other self-portraits, this self-portrait doesn’t represent a “mood,” but has a “calm” and “cool” vibe to it.  This portrait quickly amassed “likes” when it was first posted on social media.
