Mother’s Day 2018

“Mother’s Day 2018” is Max’s 2018 Mother’s Day present for his mother.  For this painting, Max painted a multicolored portrait of his mother.  He mimicked this style from previous paintings such as The Calm State and Gone and Out in North Hollywood.   Last year’s Mother’s Day present includes multicolored full bodied stencils of Max’s whole family: including Max, his three younger siblings, and parents all together.   This year’s Mother’s Day is simply a stand alone portrait of Max’s mother.
