A drawing that is seemingly not quite done

Iteration One

Initially drew a self portrait in pencils on a piece of 18*12″ watercolor paper.  The self portrait was placed near the middle, with wavy hair depicted as swirls.  Max drew his hair that way to blend in with a future curvy background consisting of little sketches surrounding the self portrait.

Iteration 2

After drawing the initial self-portrait, a spirally, dizzying background, including characters from previous pieces from Surrebral was added.  The characters added were the Trippy Hipster, Walrus King, Rainbow Haired Girl, and Bossa Luna.  The rainbow-haired girl, however, was drawn previously from the first drawing of her back in 2016.  She looks more realistic with kissing lips and more detailed, hair, which will soon be colored.  The next iteration will bring more color and whimsy to the piece.
